RIO DE JANEIRO, Feb 13 (Reuters) - Brazil will wear their new super lightweight shirt for the first time when they meet Ireland in a friendly international in Dublin next Wednesday.
The 155-gram shirt, the lightest ever designed by sportswear manufacturer Nike, to be used by Brazil in the South American 2006 World Cup qualifiers and 2004 Copa America in Peru in July, was presented officially in Rio de Janeiro on Thursday.
The most obvious difference with Brazil's previous shirt, which they wore when they won their fifth World Cup in Japan in 2002, is that the federation's (CBF) emblem has been moved to the the middle of the chest.
