BERLIN, Sep 8 (SW) -
Germany fought back after conceding an early goal against World Cup
holders Brazil, in a friendly held in Berlin on Wednesday night.
Brazil took the lead after only nine minutes when Barcelona midfielder
Ronaldinho curled in a free-kick from just outside the German penalty
area.
Germany managed to grab an equalizer only eight minutes later after VBF
Stuttgart striker Kevin Kurani took advantage of poor marking in the
Brazilian defence.
Both sides has chances to win the game, Kurani had a goal disallowed,
while Ronaldinho and Adriano both had good opportunities for Brazil. |
