Real Madrid lost their
second match in a row, this time at Montjuic’s Olympic Stadium against
Espanyol. The hosting team scored with Maxi Rodríguez after 40 minutes.
Goalkeeper Kameni saved a penalty by Ronaldo, as Cèsar did with Raúl
Tamudo, who had the chance to kick the penalty twice. Real remain at 6
points, while Espanyol and Valencia (2-0 against Real Sociedad) are one
point ahead.
