Ronaldo met Deportivo at Riazor, when he was playing for Barcelona FC. Barça won
0-1, scoring Juan Antonio Pizzi in the final minute. On May 24, 1997 Ronaldo
played his very last game right against Depor at Camp Nou, scoring in the last
minute the decisive goal (1-0).
Since he joined the merengues, Ronnie drew (0-0) in La Coruña on November 2,
2002, while in the return match (23rd of March 2003), Real won 2-0 and Ronnie
scored the second goal (Zidane had scored the opening goal).
On December 14, 2003, Real Madrid defeated Depor 2 to 1. Ronnie opened the
scoring, Walter Pandiani drew with a few minutes left and Raúl scored the
decisive goal.
Finally on May 1, 2004 Real was defeated at Riazor 2 to 0. |
