Real Madrid have issued
an official statement to say their Brazilian striker Ronaldo is not for
sale.
"The club would like to make it absolutely clear that neither the
president nor anyone else responsible at the club would study any kind
offer for the best striker in the world," read Friday's statement on the
club's website.
Real have moved to counter a story published in Friday's Marca which
said the club would listen to offers for the player in the region of 60
million euros ($75 million), with beaten Champions League finalists AC
Milan reportedly considering a bid.
The 28-year-old is Real's leading scorer this season with 20 goals. |
