Ronaldo has passed a fitness test on a
thigh injury and is included in Real Madrid's squad to face Celta Vigo
in the Primera Liga at the Bernabeu on Saturday.
The striker sustained the injury in Brazil's 5-0 win over Chile last
weekend, which saw the five-time world champions secure their place in
next year's World Cup finals in Germany.
However, Ronaldo will miss Real's opening Champions League match at
Olympique Lyon next Tuesday because of a two-match ban for being sent
off during the defeat by Juventus last season.
With France midfielder Zinedine Zidane out for three weeks due to a
groin strain, Real coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo could hand Brazil forward
Robinho a place in the starting lineup alongside Raul and Ronaldo
against Celta.
Luxemburgo has included new signing Sergio Ramos and fellow defender
Jonathan Woodgate, who has been out with a thigh muscle injury since
joining Madrid a year ago, in his 19-man squad.
