Real Madrid are set to tempt Inter into
selling Adriano by offering Ronaldo and Antonio Cassano in exchange.
Reports in Italy on Tuesday suggest that the Spanish giants are ready to
sacrifice their two attacking talents for the unhappy Brazilian striker.
Adriano has had a problematic season at the San Siro and has openly
admitted that this could be his last with the club.
Real recently admitted that they were looking to sign an offensive
player with Adriano’s characteristics and a swoop may now occur.
Whispers claim that the Bernabeu club are ready to take part in a £25m
deal even if it is unclear at this stage how that figure will be paid.
They could include both Ronaldo and Cassano in the offer or cash, of
around £20m, plus just the Italian who has failed to perform in La Liga
since his January switch.
The Nerazzurri may be persuaded by such a proposal, especially as that
money could then be re-invested in Palermo forward Andrea Caracciolo.
The latter is admired by the Milan giants who could make a bid for the
Italian international if Adriano is sacrificed.
