friendly at Tottenham's White Hart Lane ground on Tuesday, 5 September.
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has announced the fixture,
but the FA of Wales has so far refused to confirm the match will go
ahead.
Wales open their Euro 2008 qualifying campaign away against the Czech
Republic three days earlier, but have a free midweek date to fill if
required.
Wales have beaten Brazil only once in their previous nine meetings.
Dean Saunders scored the only goal of the game at Cardiff Arms Park in
1991.
The countries last met six years ago at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium,
with Brazil winning 3-0.
Before facing Wales, Brazil will play Argentina at Arsenal's Emirates
Stadium on 3 September.
The match will be the first for Argentina under new coach Alfio Basile,
who has replaced Jose Pekerman.
Brazil's first outing under their new coach Dunga will be against Norway
in Oslo on 16 August. |
