ANCELOTTI COUNTING ON RONALDO AS MILAN LOSE PATO
Brazilian teenager Alexandre Pato grabbed the headlines again
with the winning goal in AC Milan’s 1-0 victory over Fiorentina this Sunday but
coach Carlo Ancelotti will have do without him next week and will look to
Ronaldo to return to the fray.
Pato injured his ankle and limped off in the 89th minute and will miss next
weekend’s match against Siena at the Giuseppe Meazza.
Ancelotti will also be without Gilardino and he is hoping that Ronaldo will be
available to step up.
“Pato has a serious strain,” the coach said after the game. “He scored a nice
goal and was working well with Kaka and Gilardino. But now we have serious
problems up front again. Next Sunday I’ll be without him and Gilardino. I hope
that Ronaldo and Inzaghi are fit again.”
