Ronaldo says that he is harbouring dreams of playing one day for
Flamengo, the club he supported as a boy.
Speaking after he left the Pitié-Sapétrière hospital in Paris on Friday, where
he underwent surgery on his left knee, Il Fenomeno reiterated his desire to
finish his career with the Rio giants
“My dream of playing for Flamengo has been put on hold, but I still intend to
end my career at the club,” he confirmed.
At the start of 2008, Flamengo intimated their interest in the possibility of
signing Ronaldo in order to aid their assault on the Copa Libertadores. However,
their advances were rebuffed by AC Milan. |
