Corinthians and Ronaldo once again reached the final of the Copa do
Brasil.
With Ronaldo back in the starting lineup Corinthians took advantage of
the 1-1 result in the away game and held Vasco da Gama at the Pacaembu
throughout the match. The goalless tie secured Timão the the second
consecutive final of the Copa do Brasil, this time against the
Internacional.
"With a lot of work, we came in the final. I think the hard work, we
delivered was normal, as it was a major semifinal against a team with
great young players, who want to prove their value. But it was worth it,"
said Ronaldo.
"We played with intelligence and achieved our main objective, which was
qualifying for the final," Ronaldo said after the draw.
